The Accident! Above: 70 km to Honavar, and a close call for Mr Pumpy! Yep, it's every cyclists nightmare. Coming around a corner and from behind you hear the squeal of tyres and something big and metallic grinding through the dirt. The truck has just missed the corner, hit the pole and the dust hasn't settled yet. The driver jumped clear, and luckily nobody was hurt, this time. Apparently the brakes had failed. Hmm... time to get off the bike, contemplate one's mortality, and go live to air!
