Above: Kathmandu, the Durbar Square area.
The Nepalis have been observing tourists and tourist behaviour for a very long time now, and nothing much you do can surprise them.

"Riding around Kathmandu is a bit like going into a 7-11 at 5.30 pm on a Friday night, Feely," explained Mr Pumpy. "It's awfully crowded, and sometimes you get a smile, sometimes you don't, but you can always find something interesting to buy just behind the potato chips!"
"What the f@ck are you talking about, Pumpy?" I replied.
"Feely," he said, "it might be time for you to get out of Kathmandu and get back on the road. You are getting stressed again!"
"You might be right," I said.

Whatever the case, the kids are cute.
